This map displays both radar data as well as lightning data. Brighter radar colors correspond to heavier precipitation. Use this to determine if a nearby storm is a harmless shower or a dangerous thunderhead however do be aware that just because a storm doesn’t have a history of producing lightning doesn’t mean that it won’t in the future.
